The Island of Korcula-Croatia is one of the most visited Croatian islands. The top destination on the Southern Adriatic famous for beaches, water sports and local gastronomy. The main town on the island is the old town of Korcula itself, known as the birth place of Marco Polo and rich in history. The town is a historical centre and one of the „must see“ tourist destinations of the Adriatic, very close to Lumbarda (5kms.).

The island is exeptionally fertile with extensive forests and it is so easy to find shade from the hot Adriatic sun.

HOW TO REACH KORCULA ISLAND AND HOTEL LUMBARDA

Lumbarda,Korcula-Croatia is located 5 km from Korčula town and is well connected to the mainland. You can reach Lumbarda from the town of Korčula by regular local buses, taxies or by taxi-boat.

By car: From Northern Europe through Zagreb, from Italy through Rijeka, to Split. From Split, Korčula can be reached :
by car-ferry from Split to Vela Luka or Korčula,
by road from Drvenik, then ferry to Korčula,
by road to Ploče,car- ferry to Trpanj,by road to Orebić, and car-ferry to Korcula, or
by road to Ston,then to Orebić, car- ferry to Korčula.
By bus: from all towns in Croatia via Split or Dubrovnik.
By plane: To Split or Dubrovnik airport, then by bus, catamaran or ship to the town of Korcula.
By car ferry: from Rijeka, Zadar, Split, Starigrad on the island of Hvar, Sobra on the island of Mljet, Dubrovnik, Bari (Italy) and Ancona (Italy) directly to the town of Korčula.
